About the Diocese of Austria
A diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church based in Vienna, gathering the Serbian Orthodox people in the territory of the Republic of Austria.
The Diocese of Austria is a diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church covering the territory of the Republic of Austria. Its seat is in Vienna, where the Cathedral of Saint Sava is located.
The diocese gathers the faithful in several parishes across Austria, organized into three deaneries — Central, Western and Eastern Austria. Through liturgical life, religious education, publishing and humanitarian work, the diocese nurtures and preserves the Orthodox faith, the Serbian language and identity among the faithful in the diaspora.
Besides the spiritual care of the faithful, the diocese develops cooperation with the local community and other local Orthodox churches in Austria, witnessing to the unity of the Orthodox ecumene.

Covers the parishes in Graz, Linz and the surrounding places of the central part of the country.
Deanery of Western Austria
Gathers the parishes in Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and Dornbirn.
Deanery of Eastern Austria
The seat of the diocese — the Vienna parishes led by the Cathedral of Saint Sava.
